Gum Disease TreatmenT

Aimed at removing plaque, reducing infection, and promoting gum and bone health.

  • Deep Cleanings

A poster for scaling deep cleaning for healthy gums

Deep cleanings, also known as scaling and root planing, are non-surgical procedures used to treat gum disease, particularly in its early stages.

Recommended for patients with periodontal disease, where the gums have started to pull away from the teeth, forming pockets that collect bacteria and lead to further infection. The procedure helps to reduce the size of these pockets, improve gum health, and prevent the progression of gum disease.

  • Perio Protect

A non-invasive treatment for gum disease that involves using custom-fitted trays to deliver medication directly to the gum pockets where bacteria thrive.

Laser Therapy

We use Lasers to perform precise procedures, such as treating gum disease, cold sensitivity and canker sore/ulcers inside of the mouth.. They offer benefits like reduced pain, less bleeding, and quicker healing compared to traditional methods.

Antibiotic Therapy

Antibiotic therapy in dentistry involves using antibiotics to treat and prevent bacterial infections related to dental conditions.  Common conditions like dental abscesses or periodontal disease, are treated with the appropriate antibiotic prescribed based on patient needs and medical guidelines.

Pinhole Technique for Gum Recession

A minimally invasive procedure used to treat gum recession. It involves making a small hole in the gum tissue above the affected area and using special instruments to gently loosen and reposition the gums to cover the exposed roots, without the need for sutures or grafting.
