DR. James Spalenka D.D.S., F.A.G.D.
Masters Degree in Implantology, Owner and Dentist
Imagine a dentist with 30+ years of experience and the most modern technology and procedures of today.
Meet Dr. Spalenka!
Dr. Spalenka offers a complimentary consultation for new patients considering implant treatment. You will review options available for missing teeth or teeth that need to be extracted. You can compare bridges, dentures, and implant-supported dentures.
Dr. Spalenka completes an examination to find the options available to you that work best for your situation.
Crowns and Bridges are one option to deal with empty spaces caused by tooth loss.
It’s essential to fill gaps because the loss of one tooth can lead to additional loss — and it can happen quickly. When a tooth is missing very soon the neighboring teeth shift into the space left by the missing tooth. As teeth shift, the root weakens, and soon that tooth is at risk of falling out also. This “domino effect” is a cascading series of events that follow when one tooth falls out.
Precisely Placed, Long lasting Implants Restore Your Mouth to Optimal Health. You Can Trust Dr. Spalenka for Excellent Results!
Dr. Spalenka performs both the surgical placement and restoration (crown placement) phases of implants. You don’t have to see two or more dentists in different offices to get your implant done. You will have fewer appointments, less time in the chair, and your new permanent teeth sooner and often more affordable too.
Dr. Spalenka offers different kinds of dentures, carefully working out a treatment plan that’s right for you.
Today, dentures fit accurately so that they are:

There are various types of dentures available, including dentures that are made more stable by the use of implants.
When you come in for your dentures consultation, Dr. Spalenka will fully examine your jaw and bone structure before explaining to you your available treatment options, and together you’ll decide what treatment option will work well for you.
High-Tech Care for Advanced Tooth Decay & Infection
At the office of James D Spalenka, we aim to stop decay early on in the process and prevent the need for future root canals. However, if decay has reached the nerve of your tooth, we do have the treatment you need. With gentle care and extra attention to your comfort, we use a high-tech approach to restore your tooth back to health.
Dr. Spalenka treats fillings with a tooth-colored composite material to restore a natural look and feel of the tooth.
Cavities occur when the bacteria found in plaque produce acid. This acid eats away at the minerals in your enamel in a process called demineralization.
Enamel: the outermost layer of the tooth crown and hardest tissue in the body
Dentin: Supports the enamel and protects the pulp
Pulp: Innermost vital part containing blood vessels and nerves
Cementum: This layer is attached to the jaw by ligaments
Cavities initially develop below the tooth surface and may be visible on the surface. At this point they are reversible if treated with Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus.
If left untreated, the cavities progress through the enamel, invading the dentin and causing pain. A deep cavity results, which can only be treated by drilling and filling the tooth.
Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus provides pain-free treatment for early decay, including white spot lesions, before they become cavities
that require restoration.

While you are wearing braces, bacteria can build up around brackets and at the gumline, often resulting in early decay and discoloration that may develop into cavities requiring drilling and filling.
Using a patented formula, enamel is remineralized without any pain or loss of tooth structure. By remineralizing early decay, patients can avoid potentially painful and costly restorative work later.
Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus is applied directly onto the cleaned surface of the early carious lesion and allowed to dry for five minutes.
After one application, Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus acts where it is needed. It’s that simple. Over the course of weeks, the unique formulation and the application procedure help minerals, like calcium and phosphate found in saliva, to penetrate the enamel surface. Lost enamel is remineralized and re-hardened.
Visual results are usually seen at 90 days, though the enamel begins to repair and reharden much earlier.
Early decay. The demineralization occurs below the surface that is still intact.

Within 5 minutes, the Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus technology diffuses into the lesion.
Once inside the tooth, this breakthrough technology attracts minerals from saliva and remineralizes the cavity over the next few weeks.
